Royal Enfield posted Over 90,670 units in February 2025, enabling a sharp 19 per cent jump over last year’s numbers

Royal Enfield had a solid run in February 2025, pushing out 90,670 motorcycles, enabling a sharp 19 per cent jump over last year’s numbers. The home market soaked up 80,799 of those while 9,871 bikes units shipped overseas, marking a 23 per cent boost in exports compared to February 2024. Demand is clearly holding strong, both at home and abroad.

Looking at the bigger picture, total sales for this financial year now stand at 9,08,879 units, up 9 per cent from the 8,37,181 motorcycles sold during the same period last year. The domestic market saw a steady climb of 6 per cent, hitting 8,14,707 units while exports were met with a 38 per cent rise, reaching a total of 94,172 units.

Royal Enfield’s global appeal seems to be growing at a serious pace, courtesy of the good reception for its 350 cc, 450 cc and 650 cc range of offerings. On the brand front, Royal Enfield shook things up with the local debut of the brand’s all-electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea, following its global debut at the EICMA show a few months ago.

At the centre of it all is the C6, a retro-futuristic electric motorcycle inspired by the legendary 1940s Flying Flea. It’s small and agile EV blending old-school charm. RE also introduced two new shades for the Guerrilla 450 – Peix Bronze for the Dash variant and the already popular Smoke Silver.

Royal Enfield pulled the covers off the limited-edition Shotgun 650, built in collaboration with ICON Motorsports, as well recently borrowing design cues from ICON’s ‘Always Something’ custom build, featuring a three-tone race-inspired livery, gold contrast-cut rims, blue shock springs, a red seat stamped with the RE logo and bar-end mirrors.

This growth was aided by our strong product portfolio, which has been instrumental in helping us deliver pure motorcycling experiences to riding enthusiasts across the globe.”
